On each trip, I try to propose and enhance suppliers who have a focus on the sustainability of the proposed experiences and develop programming consistent with the brand. As a Travel Designer, I always start by listening to the needs of each traveler and then try to build customized, authentic and sustainable proposals. There are two modes: in the Basic package I study the destination for you, and based on your budget I propose the facilities, activities, and transportation that you will then have to book independently. The Premium package, in addition to all the services already included in the Base package, also includes researching and contacting Tour Operators and/or Travel Agencies that can propose an appropriate quote for you, and who will then book all the necessary services, including flights.
I am not a travel agency, so I do not make direct bookings for flights, hotels, or tour services. My role is to design the perfect trip for you, give you all the tools, contacts and useful directions, but you will be the one to complete the bookings, either independently (Basic package), or to finalize the booking with the Tour Operator or Travel Agency of my choice (Premium package). What are the advantages of choosing a Travel Designer over a traditional travel agency?
Many travel agencies or tour operators, no matter how competent, often do not have the time to listen deeply to each traveler's needs. I do: I devote time to listening, to the details, and create a project that is custom built for you. In addition, I am not bound by exclusivity agreements or predefined catalogs, so I have the freedom to select the best solutions from a wide range of proposals, without constraints or economic interests behind them. Even when choosing the basic package, thanks to my experience in sourcing suppliers and services, I can often save you more than the cost of the consultancy itself, giving you an optimized, authentic trip with no surprises.
I can arrange travel anywhere in the world: if I do not have direct experience in a destination, I work with tour operators or specialized agencies to ensure the highest quality. The destinations I specialize in most include Canary Islands (and all of Spain), Portugal, Greece, Iceland, Maldives, Namibia, Dominican Republic, and Bali. For each destination, I try to prioritize local suppliers and focus on conscious, responsible and sustainable tourism.
